Mission Statement
U-Turn 4 Life’s mission
is to serve the spiritual, emotional, and mental needs of men, women
and youth struggling with, or being affected by drugs, alcohol, &
sexual strongholds.
Introduction
U-Turn 4 Life was formed in
August 2003 by Reverend John P. Harris. The ministry is
committed to serving families, and individuals who are suffering
from the affects of drug and alcohol abuse, sexual addictions, and
other life controlling issues. We provide one-on-one
counseling for people struggling with addiction and to their family
members. We also provide phone counseling, and referrals to
other ministries. Our goal is to asses the needs of everyone involved,
make recommendations for treatment, to guide in the recovery
process, and offer information on the best treatment facilities
available.
U-Turn 4 Life is also
dedicated to introducing men and women to the life saving grace of
Jesus Christ. We believe there is no
better solution to addiction then Jesus. He will
heal and guide us into a new way of living; as well as give us
eternal life. With Jesus as our strength, we will overcome
addictions and the sins of our past. We will have a new Life. (II
Cor. 5: 17)
The ministry has links to several Christian
residential homes throughout the United States, as well as resources
for sexual strongholds, drug addiction, and helps ministries.
Before you commit to entering a residential home, we recommend you research all your options and make an informed
decision before committing to any program. Each
ministry and rehabilitation center has its own criteria for
acceptance and varying times to commit for completion.
All our counselors are available to discuss your options and make
recommendations after a face to face interview with all parties
involved.
